The lovely Sarah Howard over at Image Seen (creative landscape photography & digital imaging workshops) is welcoming Autumn with a wonderful range of workshops! :D

Remember, you can find any further information and book through their website; http://www.imageseen.co.uk/

They're giving you the opportunity to capture the autumn colours at  Stowe and Stourhead, two of the finest and most photogenic landscape gardens in the country.

As formal 'designed' landscape gardens, they both offer a number of fabulous features, and viewpoints to the photographer.  We are only holding one workshop in each of these gardens so numbers are limited.  To book a place on either of these workshops, please visit the website.

Westonbirt workshops;

Westonbirt Arboretum is unmissable in autumn, and our Westonbirt Workshops are always popular so if you haven't already booked don't delay! One of the most famous arboretums in the world, Westonbirt attracts millions of visitors each year, but especially in the autumn months when the trees explode into a tremendous display of colour. Woodlands and trees can be difficult subjects to photograph well, and sometimes it's hard to find an image so if you need help with this, and general tree photography, why not join me, in this stunning location.   We have three dates available this October.

Peak District workshop;

Our Peak District workshop takes place next week on the 12th and 13th September. This is our first workshop here so a lot of preparation has gone into it with regards to research and subsequent recces. England's first ever national park and now its most visited, its easy to see why;  the landscape is both diverse and extensive, an area of great natural beauty made up of rocky outcrops, peat covered moorland and wonderful limestone dales. So, if you'd like to experience it for yourself, and get some hopefully cracking shots, please click here for more information.

SPECIAL FEATURE - PHOTOGRAPHING WATER;

Waterfalls are a wonderful and popular subject, but they are not easy to photograph. Dealing with exposure issues, and controlling the movement of water to ensure you capture them at their best, takes a bit of practice.  With our Waterfalls and Coastal Landscapes workshop fast approaching  I thought I would offer some hints and tips on photographing waterfalls, so here is my definitive guide. And if, when you have read it, you feel inspired to put some of into practice, why not join myself and Steve Chatman down in the lovely Vale of Neath, South Wales.

We still have a couple of spaces left on our two day workshop this October 11th and 12th, which also takes in the Vale of Glamorgan Heritage Coast with its stunning rock and cliff formations.  Steve, being a local, has an in depth knowledge of the area and has photographed it throughout the seasons. So if you want to know everything there is learn about photographing water, this is one workshop you won't want to miss!
