Local Astronomy Group Event Tonight;

Sky Watcher Telescopes are proving to be incredibly popular
with Astronomers of all ages! Available for in-store pick-up and mail order.

For any local (or those willing to travel) astronomers;

The Chipping Norton Amateur Astronomy Group (CNAAG) will be holding an observing session at the Rollright Stones from (approx) 7pm onwards tonight (Saturday 2nd). The Moon will rise around 01:20 when it will be alongside Saturn so conditions are great.

Take along a scope, wrap up warm and remember to make yourself known to the first astronomer you see - whaddya know, it's hard to see in the dark :D

Checklist;

Scope
Thermos full of hot drink
Red filter for torches
Something to eat
Something to sit on (cold ground isn't very comfortable)

Please make sure you watch the road carefully - if I remember correctly, the traffic passing the Rollright Stones tends to go quite fast. But, above all, have fun meeting some new friends! :)
