Wallingford Photographic Club are delighted to be be hosting an event with Paul Gallagher on Sunday March 2nd at Benson Parish Hall, Benson, Oxfordshire, OX10 6LZ . This will be a full day event starting at 10.30am and finishing at 3.30pm.
Paul Gallagher, a fine art black and white and colour photographer with over 27 years experience, will be giving us a one day presentation on his approach to landscape photography. In the morning he will show and talk about some of his dramatic landscape images shot mostly in the North of England and Scotland on large format. Then, in the afternoon, he will take us through his post-processing workflow from RAW image to final exhibition quality monochromes.
Paul’s book of fine art prints ‘Chords of Grey’, released in 2010, was launched with a two week exhibition at the gallery@oxo in London and has achieved five awards to date. It is a beautiful Limited Edition cloth bound book that contains some stunning images that will inspire the photographer in all of us.
The day will begin at 10.30am in Benson Parish Hall just outside Wallingford and will aim to finish between 3 to 3.30pm. Tea and coffee will be available mid-morning and lunchtime, please bring a packed lunch. We are now selling tickets for this all day event priced at £12.
