HARMAN Technology launches 'Local Darkroom' Service;

This is for everyone I know, and those who I hope to soon meet;
everyone who Instagrams their latest Kodak Portra shot, for the film bloggers on Tumblr, those who are 'Multigrading' it up in their local gallery, for everyone who loves the even whites & blacks of Ilford XP2, to those who're still shooting concerts & gigs with 3200 ASA, for every lover of the smell of film (can't be just me..), for everyone who loves the gorgeous grain of the Kodak 400 B&W, and to everyone who stares wistfully at the old cameras in antiques shops (or, if you're like me, happen to step over the doorstep and end up buying the darn things..) - to everyone who loves every film format and may or may not have a darkroom of their own;

HARMAN Technology, the home of Ilford Photo, have just launched this brilliant website;

www.localdarkroom.com

 "HARMAN technology Limited, the home of ILFORD PHOTO, has provided a free to use website for the photographic community to search for darkrooms available anywhere in the world. Public and Community darkrooms are being encouraged to make a free listing of their location and facilities. Professionals who teach darkroom techniques are also able to make an entry. The secure website will also accept registrations from Private darkroom owners who are willing to share their facilities." - Harman Technology Press Release.

This is just fantastic for every film lover out there, and I really hope that everyone gets into this. It's especially handy for those people who might need a bit of help in the darkroom, or for those who can't set up a darkroom in their own house for whatever reason.

See you all soon :)
